Sliding Scale

Sliding Scale Pricing
Sliding Scale Availability: Open
I offer sliding scale pricing for my services for a number of reasons. For one - I personally know how incredibly difficult getting affordable healthcare services can be, and the obtainment of energy healing as well as clinical herbal services is no different. I also know the blessing of being able to obtain services on a sliding scale when I've otherwise been struggling financially. It's my sincere belief that complementary medicinal services should be both accessible and affordable.
I am limited in how many sliding scale spots I feel I can have open at one time, however. This is not done out of greed, but because I have bills to pay that I need to make sure I can afford (and both energy healing nor clinical herbal services are usually covered by insurance). As I feel I become more able to open up more sliding scale spots, and previous people on a sliding scale are no longer considered active clients, sliding scale ability will become open again. If sliding scale availability is full - please contact me and I can put you on a waitlist for when sliding scale pricing is next available. As an alternative as well if you can afford it, Shopify also offers payment plans through ShopPay for purchases over $50.

My judgement for sliding scale pricing is as follows:

I may have you pay full price if:
  • You can generally afford healthcare services easily in addition to your day-to-day costs of living.
  • Finances are not usually a worry for you.
  • You do not have a chronic or potentially terminal illness.
  • You do not have any life factors preventing you from your ability to pay for services.

I can offer you a small amount (25%) off if:

  • If you are currently struggling a little bit between affording healthcare services and your day-to-day expenses, but don't usually count yourself as having extreme difficulty.
  • You feel you need to be slightly conservative with your finances to afford your usual costs of living.
  • You do not have a chronic or potentially terminal illness, or if you do that only somewhat impedes your ability to pay for services.
  • You are temporarily unemployed or between jobs.

I can offer you a moderate amount (50%) off if:

  • You feel you usually have a choice to make between affording healthcare services and your day-to-day expenses at once, and don't feel usually able to afford both.
  • You somewhat often feel you need to be conservative with your finances to afford your usual costs of living.
  • You have a chronic or potentially terminal illness, and that frequently is a factor in your ability to pay for services.
  • You are moderate-to-low income, temporarily unemployed, or between jobs.

I can offer you a substantial amount (75%) off if:

  • You feel you usually have a choice to make between affording healthcare services and your day-to-day expenses at once, and don't feel usually able to afford both.
  • You feel you have to be very conservative with your finances to afford your usual costs of living.
  • You have a chronic or potentially terminal illness, and that frequently is a factor in your ability to pay for services.
  • You are either very low income, or unemployed in the long-term.

I may also have you fill out a form in regards to your personal and financial circumstances before offering you sliding scale pricing. If you have any questions about how I make my decisions about sliding scale pricing, please feel free to ask!
